WARNING: Read carefully before charging or using the battery.

Lithium ion batteries are special. Ignoring or failing to follow the following instructions may result in personal injury, fire, or property damage.

Using this battery means that the purchaser accepts all risks associated with lithium-ion batteries.

GENERAL GUIDELINES AND PRECAUTIONS

Only use the charger supplied by Safelab Srl for lithium ion batteries.

Do not use other chargers to avoid the risk of explosion.

Charge the battery in a safe place, equipped with a legally compliant electrical system.

To recharge the battery, remove it from the device, ensure that the battery temperature reaches at least 10°C and proceed with charging in an area separated from heat sources and flammable materials.

The charger will emit a red light when charging and a green light when fully charged. The charging time depends on the battery charge level, but never exceeds 8 hours.

Do not leave the charger connected to the battery for more than 16 hours to avoid possible damage to the charger caused by voltage variations in the electrical network or power outages.

Avoid allowing the battery to come into contact with liquids (water, drinks, etc.), as a short circuit could cause an explosion.

During use, the battery must not be subjected to impacts or rolling, and make sure that the poles do not come into contact with metallic or other conductive materials.

Do not immerse the lithium-ion battery in water or intentionally spray it with water or other liquids. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean it.

IMPORTANT: If the battery is submerged or if water has infiltrated due to damage to the shell, place it in a non-flammable container covered with sand and place it away from other flammable materials. Contact Safelab Srl for further assistance.

When to recharge the battery: The toboggans produced by Safelab Srl indicate the battery charge level using blue LEDs: when the LEDs start flashing, recharge the battery.

Disconnect the battery from the charger when charging is completed (green light is on).

Do not unplug the charger from the power outlet without first disconnecting the battery.

Do not leave the battery completely discharged for long periods of time (maximum 30 days).

The battery should be stored in a dry, moisture-free and well-ventilated place, with a temperature between 0°C and 45°C.

Avoid prolonged exposure of the battery to direct sunlight (heat).

Do not leave the battery in the toboggan compartment during the summer months.

Do not replace the connectors between the battery, charger and engine system.

Do not open the plastic battery container. Removing the inspection seal on the cover screws will void any warranty claims.

Keep the battery out of the reach of children.

Disposal and Recycling: At the end of the battery's useful life, take it to a local recycling facility for disposal or recycling.
